Maple Pecan Overnight Oats

Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup fresh pecans, chopped
Optional toppings: fresh fruit, additional maple syrup, or a sprinkle of chia seeds
Instructions:
1. In a medium bowl or mason jar, combine oats, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
2. Fold in chopped pecans.
3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
4. In the morning, stir the oats and add any desired toppings. Enjoy chilled or warm slightly in the microwave.
Tip: Toast the pecans lightly in a skillet for extra crunch and nutty flavor before mixing into the oats.
